There are many ways to earn online. However, there is no such thing as a “get rich quick scheme”.
Every cent has to be earned with patience and hardwork.
Here are the following ways to earn online: (updated)

1. Join paid forums. I used to earn a few cents from paid forums when I was still using e-gold. The payout was usually low and with just a few posts I’d earn a little from it. However, most paid forums tend to become a scam when they already have so many members to pay for. But I am sure there are still honest paid forums out there which really pay their members.

2. Mylot
Mylot has paid many of its members since it started. I know because I am a member and have been paid by them once. I said “once” because I haven’t yet reached my second payout because I seldom visit it anymore. You only have to post a discussion or answer an existing discussion to be able to earn a few cents from Mylot. If you are industrious enough to post and answer discussions, you’d get quite a few cents everyday, even more than $1 a day if you are really into it. As a starter, I found Mylot addictive. Members are able to interact with each other through the discussions.

3. PTC’s. Join ptc’s and earn a few cents clicking ads. There are several sites which do pay their members on time. For those who like to join ptc sites, I’d recommend no-minimum.com and 5centminimum.com. These two sites really pay members once payout is reached. I used to join a lot of ptc sites and have left them because I think it was a waste of time but I retain these two just for a little extra. One may find ptc sites a waste of time because they give only a portion of a cent of the revenue from clicking the ads.

4. Join affiliate programs.

5. Blog I have discovered lately that there are people who are actually earning well with their blogs. I still do not know how it works but I have heard that blogs can actually be a source of income especially those who like to write about anything under the sun. Some bloggers are paid by sponsors and advertisers to blog about their products. These bloggers are members of programs which have market places where advertisers and bloggers would meet and talk about “business”. I will talk about these programs on my next post.

5. Offer your expertise in online marketplaces and bid on projects. These days, more and more people are working in the comfort of their own homes. All they need is an internet connection and the ability to bid well on a certain project. When they win in the bid, they get to do the project and are paid according to the mode of payment agreed upon. Anyone who wants to earn not just a few cents but a few bucks in exchange for services rendered may join the following sites: www,Elance.com, www.Guru.com, www.GetAFreelancerSupport.com, RenACoder, Design Outpost, and Logo Works.

6. Buy and sell domain names.

7. Associated Content. Writers and those who love to write just for the fun of it may join this site and get paid. I heard that Associated Content pays members for any content they have written. Unfortunately, they do not pay members outside the US.

8. Triond.com. At Triond, members get royalties for content they write.

The internet offers vast ways of earning in the comfort of the home. I think in the future, there will be more opportunities online and more people will be doing freelancer jobs using the world wide web.

9. Merkadonetwork.com. This is a new site, which is like friendster where you could post your pictures, invite friends, create a blog, and do some other stuff that you do with friendster. The only difference is that you earn points which are redeemable into freebies and cash. They also give out cell phone loads to members.
